Job Summary:
The IT Engineer will manage and support the project’s IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable and secure IT services. This role involves implementing and maintaining IT systems, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support to ensure seamless project operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the project’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware.
- System Implementation: Implement and maintain IT systems that support project activities, ensuring they are efficient, reliable, and secure.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous IT service availability.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to project teams, addressing IT-related queries and issues.
- Security Management: Implement and monitor IT security measures to protect the project’s data and IT systems from cyber threats.
- Software Management: Install, update, and manage software applications, ensuring they meet project requirements and are up-to-date.
- Backup and Recovery: Develop and manage backup and recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Network Management: Oversee the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure, ensuring reliable and secure connectivity for all project sites.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of IT infrastructure, configurations, and support activities.
- Compliance: Ensure all IT activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to project staff on the use of IT systems and best practices.
Qualifications:
Experience: Over 10 years of experience in IT engineering, preferably within the construction industry.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are preferred.
